Norse CC Competes At South Adams
The Northfield high school and junior high cross country teams competed in the South Adams Invite Saturday.
The varsity girls kept improving their times this week, lead by Mara Zolman with a time of 22:36. Trinity Bever, Jenna Krom, Anna Kissel, and Emma Hoover round out the top 5 for the Lady Norse.
The boys varsity ran a great race with Andrew Burns leading the way with a 6th place finish with a time of 17:39. Alex Reed, Karson Pratt, Grant Dale, and Clay Herring rounded out the top 5 runners
The Northfield girls junior high finished in second. The top 5 girls all earned medals on the day. Laney Haupert, 5th, Teagan Baer, 7th, Kaleigh Rice, 8th, Emme Hanes, 24th and Mikayla Meyer, 25th. Emily Miller also turned in a season best time.
The Northfield junior high boys finished third. Leading the way for the Norse was Tate Barlow, 11th, Ty Leming, 16th and Jaden Baer, 18th. All 3 earned medals on the day.
