Wabash Boys Soccer Routes Peru
The Wabash boys soccer team racked up a big conference win by topping Peru 8-1 Tuesday.
The game started out pretty even with Peru getting an early goal on a breakaway. Wabash answered with a goal from Grant Carandante off a throw-in. Soon after Jacob France finished a bouncing ball on the goal line. Wabash came out of the halftime break and quickly got on the scoreboard with a second goal by Carandante. Paul Cordes grabbed another goal to put the Apaches up 4-1. From that point on it was all Wabash as Jacob France scored 3 more including a penalty kick. Sol France got in on the scoring as well, making the game 8-1. Sol ended the game with 3 assists. Brodie Craft and Spencer Stout did a great job on the back line, denying Peru quality scoring chances.
