Manchester Girls Soccer Shuts Out Maconaquah

The Manchester girls soccer team defeated Maconaquah 2-0 Wednesday.

Manchester was able to possess the majority of the half and get numerous scoring opportunities but were unable to find the net until late in the half. Lainey Shock was able to score on a cross from Beletu Stout.

Maconaquah played tough throughout the second half but Torina Runkel, Ella Clifford, Kayla Metzger and Lex Donathan were able to shut them down. Emma Garriott had a beautiful shot off an assist from Beletu Stout to finalize the score 2-0. Kindra Stetzel had a great night in the net with 6 saves and the shut out.
