Wabash/Manchester Tennis Falls In Sectional

Wabash High School boys tennis completed the 2020 season with a loss in ISHAA tournament play to Maconaquah

Competing for Wabash this season was RJ Steg, Kaemon Burton, Nicholas Ewing, Asa Thomas, Tyler Bear, Jack Jacoby and TJ Fritter.

Congrats to all 7 Apaches tennis players for showing improvement from day 1 to today’s season final match. Coach Mattern shared: “Coaching these young men throughout the season was a pleasure. Understanding we were a very young and inexperienced team, the guys worked hard in practice to catch up to teams with more experience. Although record wise, it wasn’t the season we wanted, these young men never lessoned their efforts and always represented WHS and the community of Wabash well.”

The Squire Boys Tennis Team were defeated 4-1 by Peru at the IHSAA Sectional tonight concluding their team season
