The Manchester wrestling team defeated Tippecanoe Valley 42-25 Thursday.

Manchester collected a big home victory against conference rival Tippecanoe Valley, with several underclassmen picking up big wins for the team. Freshmen Colten Nelson and Preston Duffy improved to 3-0, and Sophomores Raven King and Zach France pinned their opponents in dominating fashion to give the Squires a big lift. Senior Jacob Caudill returned to the lineup with a nice pin, and Junior Trevor Dill defeated a solid opponent in what was a close match until the end. Several wrestlers bumped up in weight to face tough opponents, and it was a good team win where everyone in the lineup competed hard for one another. The Squires return to action Saturday as they look to defend their title in the North Miami Super 6 starting at 9am.
