Manchester picked up a nice home victory against sectional rival Lewis Cass, with several wrestlers moving around the lineup to pick up big wins for the team. Seniors Trescott Duffy and Jacob Caudill started off the dual with good wins, and Freshman Preston Duffy kept it rolling with a pin at 195. After Gavin Mize collected a forfeit, Junior Trevor Dill turned his opponent to his back several times on the way to a major decision that extended the Squires lead to 25-0. After three forfeits and a pin for Cass, the score was 25-24 heading into the middle of the Manchester lineup. Junior Dylan Stroud got the team back on track with a dominating pin which was followed by 2nd period pins by Elijah Burlingame and Zach France. Junior Dominic Lincoln made his first appearance of the year and closed the dual in style with a first period pin to secure the final margin. The Squires will look to continue improving and return to action Saturday morning in the John Mckee Invitational at Rochester starting at 8:45 am.
