The Wabash Lady Apaches ran into some early foul trouble before defeating Southern Wells 43-38.
The Lady Apaches jumped out to an early lead but foul trouble hurt them and they were tied 21-21 at the half. The Lady Apaches then raced back out to a lead early in the third quarter and held on for the 43-38 win.
Wabash, now 9-6 on the season, was led by Alivia Short’s 16 points while Libby Mattern and Isabelle Davis added 7 each. Mariah Wyatt pulled down 9 boards while Short had 4 steals.
