Lady Squires Fall In Season Opener
The Manchester Lady Squires softball team fell to Leo 14-2 in their season opener Monday.
Manchester jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first when Paxton Baker led off with a single. With one out Baker would advance to second before a Kendra Stetzel single put runners on the corners. Back to back singles from Avery Isley and Torina Runkle made it 2-0.
Leo would shut down the Squires the remainder of the game while plating 14 runs for the 14-2 final.
