Manchester Tennis Falls

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Manchester men’s tennis team dropped a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference road match at rival Anderson on Tuesday, March 23.

The Ravens defeated the Spartans by a final tally of 8-1.

Both the no. 1 and no. 2 doubles matches were close on Tuesday. Anderson’s two duos narrowly edged the Spartan duos of Isaac Miller and Samuel Hollingsworth and Andrew Kibler and Austin Arnold by final counts of 8-5 in each flight.

Isaac Miller (Millersburg, Ind./Fairfield) picked up a 6-1, 7-5 win at no. 1 singles over Anderson’s Colton Stevens on Tuesday.

Manchester (2-6, 0-2 HCAC) will host Trine University in a non-conference match at the MU Tennis Courts on Saturday, March 27. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.

ANDERSON, Ind. – The host Anderson Ravens topped the Manchester University women’s tennis team in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday, March 23.

The Ravens won Tuesday’s match by a final score of 8-1.

Karly Eichenauer (Manchester, Ind./North Manchester) earned a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Anderson’s Claire Miller at no. 1 singles on Tuesday.

The women will be off until an April 8 road match at Bethel (Ind.). Match time is slated for 4 p.m.
