The Wabash Middle School soccer team fell to Tippecanoe Valley 7-1 Tuesday.

Wabash started off strong playing into the wind, with multiple shots on goal by Logan Wright, Ty Carpenter, Jonas Church, Max Carpenter and Josie Bailey, but were unable to connect with the back of the net. Ty Carpenter was able to capitalize on a Tipp Valley handball penalty inside the 18, scoring the Apaches’ only goal on the night. Coming out of the half, Tipp Valley was leading Wabash 3-1. The Vikings took control of the second half, scoring four additional goals to secure the win. Kristian Stanton had 9 saves in the contest and multiple players for Wabash had standout performances, including Jaycee Jones, Ezra Church, and Ashton Coffman for their defensive efforts, and Kaylee Indrutz and Jonas Church for their offensive attempts. Wabash will travel to North Miami on Thursday, April 29.
