American League Giants Defeat Yankees

The Todd Adams State Farm Giants defeated the Siders Premier Properties Yankees 9-5 in Wabash Little League American League action Wednesday.

Carson amburgey, Mason Braun and Eli Elzroth pitched for the Giants. Addison Wischman had a double, Josie Bakehorn singled and Gavin Lester hit an inside the park home run, in the winning effort.

For the Yankees in a losing effort, Cade Pershing pitched 4 1/3 innings with 12 K’s. Karstyn Updike and Pershing were both 1-2 at the plate and Myles McConohay was 2-2 with 2 RBI’s and a run scored.

The Giants move to 1-0 on the season and the Yankees fall to 1-1.
