Norse JV Falls To Eastern

The Northfield junior varsity baseball team lost to Eastern 13-11 Monday.

Northfield built a sizable led of 9-3 after 6; but gave up 10 runs in the 7th, only adding 2 to their total. The offensive effort was led by Bryce Smith and Cody Copeland each with 2 hits. The mound was dominated by Jaden Truman for the Norse pitching 6.2 innings, only walking 1 batter and striking out another 9. Noah Burkhart finished the inning with 1 SO and 1 BB. The Norse next host Wabash on Tuesday, May 18.
