Manchester Swimmers Split With Wabash
The Manchester swim teams split with Wabash Wednesday.
The Manchester girls topped Wabash in dual meet action on Wednesday night 94-48.
Josie Briner led the way with victories in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Noelle Walt (200 IM), Evyn Fox (500 free), and Hannah Eberly (100 breaststroke) also raced to first places finishes for the Squires. Additionally the Squire 200 medley relay team (Kaesyn Lester, Eberly, Briner, and Gracie Dale) and 400 freestyle relay team (Briner, Sophie Anglin, Dale, and Eberly) placed first.
The Squire boys fell to Wabash in a close meet 57-50.
Jonathan Eberly (100 butterfly), Cale Bennett (500 freestyle), and Liam York (100 breaststroke) all picked up individual wins for Manchester. Additionally, the 200 free relay of Raice Martin, York, Caleb Smith, and Eberly placed came from behind to finish first.
