Norse Wrestling Tops North Miami

Northfield’s Wrestling Team defeated North Miami 45-26 at home, after giving up 12 points, due to forfeits before the matches started.

Five Norsemen scored pins over their opponents. Sophomore Layne Denton started of the meet by winning the opening match via a pin in forty-five seconds. Sophomore Dylan Osborn followed suite pinning his opponent in one minute and ten seconds. Freshman Marcus Meyer scored a pin at 5:51 in his match. Junior Karson Pratt won his match by pin at 1:10. Senior Jaydan wasted little time scoring a pin at 1:16. Lastly, Junior Malachi Higgins won his match by decision (3-0).
