Norse Wrestling Tops Valley
Northfield honored its Senior class of 2022 Wrestlers and Managers tonight while paying tribute to the past. The Norsemen hosted Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday evening in this season final home dual meet.
The Norsemen defeated the Vikings 42-30. Senior Mason Osborn (285) won his last home match of his high school wrestling career pinning Dalton Alber in 1:54. Junior Tristian Barlow (170) won by forfeit. Sophomores Layne Denton (145) and Dylan Osborn (152) won both their matches by decision and pin respectively. Carrying the team tonight were our freshmen. Eli Bone (106) win his first varsity wrestling match by forfeit. Trevor Shake (126) won by pin. Marcus Myer (132) won by decision. Kameron Pratt (113) won by pin.
