Cold Shooting Cost Lady Squires

The Manchester Lady Squires fell to Rochester 56-40 Saturday.

The Lady Squires battled hard tonight, but dug a hole in the first quarter that they couldn’t get out of. Down 26-14 at halftime, the ladies played a strong second half, but could never get it closer than 7 points. Rochester’s strong presence on the inside was tough for the ladies to shut down.

Ainsley West led with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 assists. Brookelynn Buzzard went 3/5 from three’s, scoring 11 points and having 2 assists and 1 steal. Keilan Creager had 5 points and 2 assists. Makenzy Meyer had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Aliala Atienza played tough defense and grabbed 4 rebounds. Maddy Miller and Molly Schannep each had 2 points. Olivia Neal and Kim Schroll had 1 point a piece.
