Lady Apaches Come Back Against North Miami
The Wabash Lady Apaches won a 57-56 thriller over North Miami Saturday.
Wabash jumped out to an early lead and led 17-12 after a quarter but then fell behind 31-30 at the half. Down 44-42 after 3 the Lady Apaches would go down by 7 in the fourth before fighting their way back for the win.
Wabash was led by Kierra Wilson with 21 points while Rylee Yoakum added 12. Linda Cordes pulled down 8 rebounds to pace the squad. The Lady Apaches are now 7-13, 1-6.
The JV Lady Apaches capped off a great week with a 37-25 win over North Miami. Wabash, now 7-10, went 3-0 on the week. The Lady Apaches got balanced scoring as 8 people scored led by Kiana Jones and Kait Honeycutt with 8 points each.
