Southwood JH Track Takes Three Of Four From Manchester
The Southwood junior high track teams took on Manchester Thursday.
8th grade: Southwood 44 Manchester 43
7th grade: Southwood 48 Manchester 35
Individual Results Girls
8th grade: Alexis Lopez finished first in the long jump (13′ 4″), first in the 200 m hurdles (35.5), and second in the 100 m hurdles (19.9). Hailey Collins finished first in the 400 m dash (1:13.2), and second in the long jump (12′ 1″). Isabelle Ashba finished first in the 200 m dash (30.0), and third in the 100 m hurdles (20.1). Naomi Davis finished second in both discus (40′ 11″) and shot put (18′ 7″). Mylah Dillon finished second in both the high jump (4′ 4″) and 200 m dash (31.6). The 400 m relay team of Isabelle Ashba, Hailey Collins, Mylah Dillon, and Alexis Lopez finished first with a time of 58.7 seconds.
7th grade: Ella Cunningham finished first in both the 100 m hurdles (25.7) and 200 m hurdles (45.9). Shelby Thomas finished first in both the 1600 m run (6:06) and 800 m run (2:53.6). Lola Winer finished first in the long jump (11′ 3″), second in the 400 m dash (1:11.1), and third in the 100 m dash (14.6). Presley Kroft finished first in the 400 m dash (1:09.4), and second in the 200 m dash (31.1). Paige Nelson finished second in both the 1600 m run (6:25.8) and the 800 m run (2:59.3). Rowyn Mealy finished second in the long jump (10′ 11″). Alyvia Frieden finished third in the shot put (17′ 5″). Aubrey Ramos finished third in the 800 m run (3:11.8).

8th grade: Jacob Beachler finished first in the 100 m dash (11.5), first in the 200 m dash (24.3), and second in the long jump (15′ 8″). Owen Enyeart finished first in the 1600 m run (5:39), second in the 400 m dash (58.9), and third in the long jump (14′ 6″). Cooper Drake finished first in the 800 m run (2:27.4). Keaton Frieden finished second in the shot put (29′ 3″). DaVon Osborn finished second in the 200 m hurdles (31.4). Maddox Elzy finished third in the discus (60′ 12″). Noah Baldwin finished third in both the 110 m hurdles (19.8) and 200 m hurdles (32.3).
7th grade: Josiah Chellis finished first in the 110 m hurdles (20.0), first in the 200 m hurdles (34.5), and second in the 100 m dash (13.6). Andrew Wright finished first in the 100 m dash (13.2), the 400 m dash (1:05.7), and the 200 m dash (27.6). James Unger finished first in the 1600 m run (5:47.9), and second in the 800 m run (2:44.7). Caden Guthrie finished second in both the 110 m hurdles (22.9) and 200 m hurdles (39.5). Blake Enyeart finished second in the 1600 m run (6:05.1), and third in both the long jump (11′ 11″) and the 800 m run (2:47.9). Owen Davis finished second in the long jump (12′). Blake Henderson finished second in the 200 m dash (29.6), and third in the 100 m dash (13.7). Karstynn Updike finished third in the 1600 m run (7:00.8). The 400 m relay team of Owen Davis, Tysan Chambers, Zander Chellis, and Blake Henderson finished first with a time of 1:03.1. The 1600 m relay team of Josiah Chellis, James Unger, Andrew Wright, and Blake Enyeart finished first with a time of 4:58.9.
