Lady Squires Runner Up/Lady Apaches 11th At Turtle Town
The Lady Squires brought home a runner up trophy placing 2nd to host Churubusco
*The 4×800 (Josie Briner, Ayla Cashdollar, Kadence Fox, Annett Alliod) were seeded 1st and brought home first with a time of 10:50
*The 4×100 (Rory Poston, Keilan Creager, Aliala Atienz, Olivia Auler) was seeded 5th and took 3rd with a PR time of 53.6.
*The 4×400 (Alliod, Creager, Ainsley West, Ava Egolf) was seeded 3rd and got 4th with a time of 4:34.
*In the 1600 m A. Cashdollar was seeded 2nd but took first with a PR of 5:50. Fox was seeded 8th and placed 7th with a PR of 5:58
*In the 3200 Cashdollar got her 2nd place seed with a 13:03. Briner was seeded 11th, but got 6th in 13:57
*In the 800 Alliod was seeded 4th but got 3rd with 2:42 and Fox was seeded 10th but took 4th at 2:42 and change.
*In the 100 m Auler got her 2nd place seed with a 12.9
*Atienza was seeded 11th in the 100 m hurdles but placed 7th 18.02
*Auler was seeded 8th in the 200 m, but took 6th with a 28.35
*Egolf was seeded 8th in the 300 m hurdles but took 7th with a 52.95
*In the long jump Auler, seeded 2nd, placed first with a PR leap of 16’6 1/2 “, Atienza was seeded 15th, but jumped a PR of 14’6 1/2 to get 4th.
*In the Discus Kindra Stetzel was seeded 7th but grabbed 4th with a toss of 98’11”
*And in the shot put Stetzel was seeded 12th, but threw a PR of 32’8″ to get 4th while team mate Leyna Borgmann who was seeded 15th PR’d with a 30’2″ to place 7th.
The Wabash girls track team finished 11th at the Turtle Town Classic Saturday.
