Red Sox Edge Blackhawks

The Crossroads Bank Red Sox defeated the Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks 4-3 in 6 innings Tuesday.

Liam McCann led the Red Sox going 2 for 2 at the plate with a single and a double. Jameson Wallen and R.J. Harris added RBI singles while Tyson Chambers, Jordan Fields, Cade Pershing, and Coby Leland all singled. Jordan Fields got the win for the Red Sox allowing 3 runs in 5 innings while striking out 8. R.J. Harris took the mound in the bottom of the 6th and earned the save. Ryker McKillip and Aiden Mahan singled for the Blackhawks while Logan Holmes added an RBI. Ethan Mahan started on the mound for the Blackhawks giving up 4 runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Jake Sailors came on in relief and struck out 10 in 4 and 1/3 innings. Both teams are now 1-1 on the season.
