Kamden Oswalt and Beckett Shaw each had 2 hits and RBI. Cruz Long had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Dylan Powell and Breckin Sanders both had RBI doubles while Zayne Huffman singled. Peyton Ward got the win striking out 9 in 4 innings. Jordan Fields was 3 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Red Sox. Ashton Shepler had an RBI double and Cade Pershing added an RBI single. RJ Harris started on the mound and took the loss for the Red Sox. With both wins the A’s are now 6-5 on the season while the Red Sox dropped to 3-10.
Saturday Game 1: Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks @ Kendall Electric Yankees
Recap: The Kendall Electric Yankees defeated the Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks 10-0 in 4 innings. Mackey Sorg went 2 for 2 with a homer and 2 RBI to lead the Yankees at the plate. Dylan Hurst and Harrison Dale each added 2 hits while Bode Sorg had a single and 2 RBI. Liam Clark also doubled for the Yankees. Harrison Dale picked up the win striking out 5 in 3 and 1/3 innings. Ryker McKillip had a single to lead the Blackhawks. Logan Holmes took the loss on the mound. The Yankees are now 10-1 on the season while the Blackhawks dropped to 7-5.

Recap: The Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to defeat the Inguard A’s 11-7 in 7 innings. Brody Schnurpel went 5 for 5 with a triple and 2 RBI to lead the Cubs at the plate. Treyce Daughtry had 4 hits including a double. Landan Johnson had 3 hits including a double. Ian Edmond, Nash Cunningham, and Ryker Wilcox all added 2 hits for the Cubs. Landan Johnson started on the mound striking out 7 while Ryker Wilcox earned the win in relief striking out 8 in 3 innings. Breckin Sanders had an RBI double and RBI triple to lead the A’s at the plate. Kamden Oswalt had 3 hits while Connor Height added an RBI double. Dylan Powell also singled for the A’s. Blake Ashba took the loss on the mound. With the win, the Cubs are now 8-5 while the A’s fell to 6-6 on the season.
