Wabash Tennis Falls In Season Opener
Wabash Tennis traveled to Madison Grant to open the 2022 season. Madison Grant, fielding a seasoned squad with depth at the singles spots, swept the match 5-0.
The doubles matches were very competitive. leading to some great learning points for the young Apaches. Wabash’s lineup included 3 freshman and 2 sophomores. Madison Grants skill and experience were key contributors to the win for the Argyles. Coach Mattern shared: ” I was proud of the effort and attitude of the team this evening. Losses like this are always tough but there were many bright spots at each position. With a team this young, consistency can be a hurdle, one will continue to improve each time we practice and play.”
