Lady Squires Go 500 At Elwood

The Manchester volleyball team played in the Elwood Invitational Saturday.

The varsity volleyball team traveled to Elwood for the Elwood Invitational on Saturday. In their opening match, the Squires lost in straight sets to the Tipton Blue Devils.

The varsity volleyball team lost their 2nd match of the day at the Elwood Invitational to Clinton Central High School. The scores were 21-25 and 19-25.

The varsity team got their first win of the day against the Mississinewa Indians, winning in 3 sets 25-16, 16-25, 15-5.

After a strong 1st set, the Squires came out flat in the 2nd, allowing Mississinewa to tie the match at one set a piece. The Squires came out very strong in the third set and cruised to a 15-5 win.

The Varsity volleyball team ended the Elwood Invitational by defeating the host Panthers 25-15, 25-19. With the win, the Squires finished 2-2 on the day, evening their regular season record to 3-3.
