Manchester Girls Soccer Stops Wawasee

The Manchester girls soccer team defeated Wawasee 3-0 Tuesday.

The Lady Squires started strong in the first minute with a great rip by Brookelynn Buzzard that hit the crossbar. Amyia Miller got her head on the ball that found the back of the net. The rest of the first half was back and forth as it was 1-0 at halftime. Coming out of the half, an indirect kick was first touched by London Spangle and then finished by Campbell Bolinger from just outside the 18. A few minutes later Brookelynn Buzzard found the back of the net. Strong defense led by Addison Brubaker, Ella Clifford, Karsyn Kamphues, Maggie Onderko-White, and Chase Blevins kept the Lady Warriors scoreless. Grace Smith had 6 big saves in the net for the game.
