Wabash Girls Soccer Shuts Out North Miami

The Wabash Lady Apaches improve to 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play with a 7-0 win over North Miami.

Senior goalkeeper Hannah Layne had her 2nd shutout for the season and ended the game with one save. Senior Libby Mattern played an incredible defensive game for the Lady Apaches, controlling the center of the field and distributing to fuel the offensive attack. Tonight’s win was a great team win, with everyone contributing! The offense was lead once again by another senior Rylee Yoakum hat-trick, with junior Natalie Adams putting away two goals, sophomore Kait Honeycutt finishing and junior Kiana Jones finding the back of the net. Yoakum, Honeycutt and K. Jones also assisted goals tonight. Shots taken tonight by Yoakum, Honeycutt, K. Jones, Adams, Mattern, sophomore Graci Napier, senior Abbie Boggs, sophmore Macy VonUhl. The Lady Apaches are back in TRC action on Tuesday at Manchester.
