Apaches Win Nail Biter Over Squires

The Wabash Apaches picked their first win of the season over Manchester 28-27 Friday.

The game got started with Antonio Grant running the opening kick off back 70yds for a 7-0 lead. Manchester would then tie the score when Brock Casper connected with Menphis Wood from 43yds out to tie the score. The Apaches would regain the lead when Andrew Dillon scored from 6ds yards away to give Wabash a 14-7 lead after one.

Manchester would get the lone score in the second. Garrett Sites raced 21yds to make it 14-14 at the half.

Sites would find pay dirt in the third with 7:57 left to give Manchester a 21-14 lead before Izaak Wright and Keaton Fields hooked up from 2yds away to make it 21-21. Manchester would regain the lead when Mason Rooney scored from 7yds out to give the Squires a 27-21 lead after three.

Wabash would score early in the fourth when Wright found Grant from 19yds away to give the Apaches the 28-27 lead.
