The Manchester cross country teams ran in their own invitational Saturday.

The high school girls ran really today finishing 6th out of 16 complete teams at the Manchester Cross Country Invite.

Kadence Fox finished 5th and broke 20 minutes (19:50) for the first time, while Ayla Cashdollar finished 8th and was knocking on the door in a time of 20:07. With Miriam Struble-Hedstrom out with an injury, Bethany Penrod and Grace Penrod stepped up and had big PRs. Bethany dropped over 1 minute from her PR to break 26 minutes (25:53), and Grace dropped over 2 minutes from her PR to run 26:19. Evyn Fox, Shelby Cahill, Kelzei Fox, and Avery Akins also ran big PRs.

The high school boys team finished 8th place out of 20 complete teams at the Manchester Cross Country Invite.

Kyler Dale led the way for the Squires in 16th place with another season PR of 17:41. Raven King, healthy again, ran his best race this season in a time of 17:52 for 22nd place. In the absence of Lane Stetzel, Clark Showalter was 5th dropping over 45 seconds off his season PR.
