Lady Eagle Volleyball team beat Eastern tonight 3-1. They improved their record to 8-5. JV also won in 3 sets and improved their record to 6-3. Next match is a CIC matchup on Thursday at Eastbrook.

After a Rochester goal in the middle of the first half, Riley Alfandre was able to put the ball in the back of the net for the Eagles with 4 seconds left before the first half ended. The Eagle defense was hard at work holding Rochester scoreless in the second half. Liz Godfrey had 6 saves. The Lady Eagles will face Jay County at home on Thursday night.

Oak Hill played a good game last night against the Apaches. The game ended in a 0-0 tie, but the score doesn’t reflect the intensity of the game. Although they couldn’t find the back of the net, it was a well played match by the Eagles.
