Squire Netters Fall At Wawasee

The Manchester boys tennis team lost a close 3-2 match at Wawasee Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Winning matches for the Squires were Josh Steely at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1, and the No. 2 doubles team of Sammie Lambert and Owen Harshman, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

No. 1 singles player Peyton Jones lost 6-3, 6-1, Milo Hupp lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, and the No. 1 doubles team of Cole Henderson and Connor Trump lost 6-2, 6-2.

In JV action, A.J. Weaver and Hank Dyson lost singles matches 6-0 and teamed up in a 6-0 loss.

The Squires host Columbia City next Monday, Sept. 19.
