Manchester JV Falls To Rage

The Manchester Junior Varsity soccer team lost 3-2 to the Wabash MetroRage club team on Monday.

The Squires got off to a slow start, giving up two goals in the first half. But in the second half, after Wabash scored early to give themselves a 3-0 lead, Manchester picked up the pace and netted two goals. The first was on a cross from Caleb Sautter to Jaden Jimenez, which Jaden put into the goal off the right post. The second was an individual effort by Wyatt Young. The Squire side continued to press, with several good crosses from Colton Refitt from the right side, but couldn’t get the equalizer. The Manchester defense also had an excellent second half, with good play from the regular back line of Evan McLaughlin, Simon Van, Carson Heath and Jose Cortes.
