Lady Squires Shut Out Rochester

Manchester girls soccer defeated Rochester 3-0 Monday in conference play.

Both teams battled back and forth through out the first half. Brookelynn Buzzard was able to find the net first for Manchester finishing a cross from Samantha Shock to give Manchester a 1-0 lead at the half.

Rochester came out battling in the second half but came up short against the tough defensive play from Addison Brubaker, Ella Clifford, Karsyn Kampheus, Maggie White-Onderko and Chase Blevins. Samantha Shock, London Spangle and Molly Schannep played well in the middle moving the ball and controlling the field. Late in the second half Brookelynn Buzzard was able to sent a through ball to Campbell Bolinger twice for back to back goals. Grace Smith had a huge shutout and 6 saves.
