Wabash Boys Soccer gave up 2 early goals in the first round of Sectional 22 and was not able to overcome the deficit.

The first goal came off a Valley corner kick that found its way past Isaac Byers. Valley seized momentum at that point and laid on the pressure pinning Wabash in their own half for much of the first period. The pressure netted Valley a second score off a shot from distance.

Wabash managed to get one back before half-time when Will Galley took a free kick that Solomon France headed into the path of Kolton Wilson who headed the ball into the goal.

Wabash emerged in the second half as the dominant team. The Apaches had Valley on their back foot for most of the period creating multiple scoring chances but not finding the finish they needed. Valley received the benefit of a penalty kick late in the game and sealed the victory by putting it away.

Wabash ends the season with a record of 8-6-1. They earned a tie for second place in the TRC.

During this season Jacob France became Wabash’s all-time leading scorer with a total of 54 career goals. Solomon France finishes his career with the all-time assists record with 25.
