Results from Peru for Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st

The Tigers lost a tough game at Southwood Friday night 55-25. The score was not truly indicative of the game.

Having lost several key players for the year due to injuries, several younger players have gotten their chance to play under the Friday night lights.

Offensively, the Tigers were led by Quarterback Matthew Rotteger with a 181 yards through the air and 3 touchdowns. Braxten Robbin had 5 catches for 70 yards and 2 scores. Braxton Strong had 6 catches for 55 yards and 1 score. Alex Ross scored his 7th touchdown of the year in the 3rd quarter.

Defensively, Tanner Boggs totaled 14 tackles followed by Strong with double digit tackles. Strong and Watkins added a Sack apiece while Alex Smithers added a blocked punt.

The Tigers will be home for Senior Night this Friday versus Northfield. We hope to see you at the ball game as we honor our class of 2023.
