Manchester XC Advances To Regional
The Manchester girls and boys cross country teams advanced to next Saturday’s regional.
With a 2nd place team finish, the Manchester high school girls cross country team advanced to the Culver Academies Regional next Saturday. Ayla Cashdollar in 5th with a career PR of 19:31, Kadence Fox in 6th with a time of 19:45, and Ava Egolf in 16th with a career PR of 21:51 finished top 20. Evyn Fox in 22:58, Bethany Penrod in 24:06, Grace Penrod in 24:27, and Avery Akins in 29:58 all ran career PRs! It was a perfect day to run, and with a phenomenal team effort, the ladies will run again at Regional!
With a 4th place team finish, the Manchester High school boys team advanced to the Culver Academies Regional next Saturday. Kyler Dale in 8th with a career PR of 17:17, Raven King in 10th with a career PR of 17:21, and Lane Stetzel in 19th with a career PR of 17:58 finish top 20. Caden Marcum in 18:36, Caleb Smith in 18:49, and Clark Showalter in 20:36 all ran career PRs! With a phenomenal team effort, the top 5 boys ran the fastest total time by a Manchester High School boys team since 2007 under Coach Sarber when the program was reinstated. These 7 guys will all get to compete again at Regional!
