Norse Take Down Madison Grant
The Northfield Norsemen took down 8-2 Madison Grant 21-14 Friday.
The Norse got off to a great start when Eli Kroh picked up a fumble and raced to the endzone for a 6-0 lead. Madison Grant would come back to tie the score 6-6 at the end of one.
The Norse would take a 13-7 lead to the half when Delgado scored from 1yd away.
The Argylls would get the lone score in the third and convert a two point conversion to lead Northfield 14-13 heading to the fourth.
After a long drive to end the third the Norse would score with 11:17 on the clock when Fisher found Long from 6yds out. The Norse would then go for two. Fisher would pitch to Jaxton Peas who found Dylin Ross in the back of the endzone to make it 21-14. Madison Grant could not break the Norse defense as Northfield held on for the 21-14 win.
