The Wabash Lady Apaches used a big third quarter to turn a close game at the half into a 22 point advantage and went on to win 68-38 at Marion Saturday.

Wabash is now 3-0 to start the season, just the third time in school history that the Lady Apaches have started 3-0.

The Lady Apaches were lead in scoring by Libby Mattern with 16 points, while Kierra Wilson and Rylee Yoakum added 15 a piece. Jade Stumbo pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Wabash while Kait Honeycutt had 6 steals and Mattern dished out 3 assists.

The Lady Apaches will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Lapel.

The JV Lady Apaches topped Marion 37-25 to move to 2-0 on the season. Wabash jumped out to an 11-2 lead after a quarter and never looked back.

Bryleigh Boggs lead the Lady Apaches with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Kiana Jones added 9 points and Bella Vail pulled down 8 rebounds.
