Results from Peru for Monday, October 21st
The Tigers welcomed Northfield to Tig-Arena Monday night to continue TRC play. The Tigers struggled offensively shooting 27% from the field and could not find a crucial basket in the 4th quarter after cutting the lead to 45-42 and had to foul down the stretch to put the game out of reach 51-45. Leading the Tigers offensively was Brianna Bennett with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Other contributing Tigers were Emma Eldridge with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Addison Robbins with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 1 steal. Emily Ream with 3 points, 1 block, and 1 steal. Brooklyn Garner with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 assist. Kaylene Kirk with 2 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 assist. Maddie Nordman with 2 rebounds and 1 steal. Cameryn Raber with 2 rebounds and 1 assist. The Tigers are 1-5 on the season and now 1-2 in the TRC. The Tigers will continue play after Thanksgiving break Saturday, December 3rd at Kokomo. This will be a full JV and Varsity contest with the JV tipping off at 12:00 with Varsity to follow.
