Northwestern always has competitors and this year was no different. Our girls, despite their best efforts, fell short in several areas but came together in the end to win this one.

Oak Hill finished 1st in only 5 of the 12 events. Individuals don’t win meets, teams win meets.

Oak Hill Boys start the season off with a win! Several swims/dives created a great starting position for our Boys team. However, we now know where the problem areas are and look ahead to improve them

The boys team has a very strong Senior class and a very promising future for the Freshman class. Continued work and focus in the water/on the board and on the small things will carry this team far.

Oak Hill opened the 2022-23 wrestling season at Maconaquah on Tuesday evening, beating the host Braves by a score of 45-23.

Seniors Wyatt Strange (285), Austin Lawrence (152), and Silas Jones (220) each opened their season by pinning their opponents.

Freshmen Mauricio Perez (106) and Thane Jones (195) each began their varsity careers with victories – Perez winning by pin and Jones winning by 5-4 decision.
