Girls had the opportunity to swim alternative events! We had the chance to better learn our team in where we are strong and where we need more focus. The girls won 164 to Easterns 107 and then Lapel with a newer program earning 36 points.

Only two entries per event as this was a three way meet.

Like the girls team, the boys were able to learn more about what their strong areas and what their weaker areas are. Relay exchanges is a very problematic area for our boys which made this a close meet, only winning by 2.

Boys lost focus on the second half of the meet and it showed. Boys look ahead to a back to back meets next week with Monday Maconaquah and Tuesday Jay County.

The Oak Hill wrestling team improved its dual meet record to 2-0 on the season with a 40-27 victory over the visiting New Haven Bulldogs on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Oak Hill jumped out to a 27-6 lead, but New Haven battled back to trail by only one point – 28-27 with three bouts left. Oak Hill won all three of those bouts to seal the win.

The Oak Hill 7th grade girls brought the intensity early and it paid off with a conference win over the Frankton Lady Eagles. Oak Hill led 11-0 after the first quarter and never looked back. Leading Oak Hill were: Brianna Dailey with 12 points and 6 rebounds, Ryleigh Myers with 8 points and 4 steals, Sydney Leal and Charleigh Nevers added 5 points each. Brooklyn Young had 7 rebounds and both Sydney and Aubrey Barcomb had 5 rebounds. The Lady Eagles will travel to Wabash next Wednesday to face the Lady Apaches.
