Outside The County-Maconaquah

Results from Maconaquah for Monday, December 5th.

The 6th grade Braves travelled to Logansport Columbia and came away with a great team win, 44-19. The Braves started the game with some great plays and never slowed down. They boys played great team basketball by making great assists, finding the open player and working hard for rebounds!

Leading the Braves in scoring was Levi Merritt with 19 points. Evan Zeiser followed with 7 points and many assists. Jaxon Cole, Bentley Miller and Caleb Barnett each had 6 points. Colt Myers contributed with many rebounds and great defense on his player.

The “A” team moves to 3-2 on the season.

The Braves “B” team came away with the win as well, 12-9. The boys continue to improve and everyone on the court put forth a great effort. Leading the Braves in scoring was Grayson Cardwell with 6 points, followed by Chase Million with 4 points and Diego Soto with 2 points. In the closing minute, Million hit 2 key free throws to seal the win!

The “B” team moves to 2-3 on the season.

The Braves will travel to Taylor on Wednesday for an “A” team only game as Taylor only has enough players for one team. Game time is 5:30pm.
