The Knights continued the run into the third quarter and took the lead going into the fourth quarter 55-46. Thanks to Nathan Lehner scoring 8 points in the quarter along with Jason Oprisek scoring 6.
In the fourth quarter the Knights withstood the Apaches rally and held on for their first conference win at 67-56.
“I’m very proud of our boys responding from that early hole we put ourselves in at 34-17. We were able to cut it to seven at the half. Our third quarter won us the game, outscoring Wabash 23-7. Then we were able to hold on in the fourth. We grew a lot tonight.” Coach Perry.
