Southwood JH Girls Crush Eastbrook

The Southwood 7th grade lady Knights used an aggressive style of defense and limited the visiting Eastbrook Panthers to 0 first half points. They went on to win 29-8, improving their record to 2-1 on the season.

The lady Knights had 18 steals on defense, which helped build an early lead 13-0 after 1 quarter of play. Ryleigh Pulley and Ella Chambers lead the defense in steals with 8 and 7 respectively, with Paige Nelson and Kaley Denney also helping provide the defensive charge. Alivia Pershing paced the lady Knights in scoring (12) & rebounds (8) proving to be too much inside the paint. Rya Morgan and Caidence Milliner also provided strong defense.

The Lady Knights are back in action Thursday, January 19 @ Manchester.

The Southwood Lady Knights played another tough game came out on top 28-21. The girls battled all night and finished the game on an awesome 13-2 run to close out the Lady Panthers! Great effort and determination to grab the win! The girls take their record to 3-0 on the season.
