Manchester JH Boys Split With Whitko
The Manchester junior high boys split with Whitko Tuesday.
Manchester hosted the Wildcats of Whitko in a very exciting game, where regulation was not enough, it took overtime to decide a winner, with Whitko taking a 55-54 victory. Squires held a 10 point advantage at halftime but the Wildcats kept chipping away at the lead in the second half and the score went back and forth most of the 4th quarter, and took a last second shot to tie the game up at 46-46, sending the game into overtime. Whitko outscored the Squires 9-8 in the extra period to pull out the 55-54 win.

After tonight’s game the Squires overall record is 8-4 and their conference record to 4-1
Next game will be a Home game on Monday against Rochester
The B-Team game was a combined 7th & 8th grade game, where Whitko pulled out the win 10-8

After a slow start to the game Manchester 8th grade found a way to get going to defeat Whitko 39-31. Manchester grabbed the lead at halftime and never looked back. Manchester 8th grade will be back in action Monday the 23rd at home vs Rochester. Squires Record is now 7-7 overall and 5-0 in conference.
