Knights Take Down Norse

The Southwood and Northfield basketball teams hooked up Friday night with the Knights defeating the Norse 69-49.

The Knights got off to a slow first quarter leading 11-9 going into the second. The Knights then went on a scoring borage in the second quarter while scoring 25 points on 10/12 shooting and 3/3 at the charity line. A sizzling 83% shooting helped propel the Knights to a 36-17 lead at the half.

Dylan Stout lead the Knights in scoring and rebounding, all his 16 pts in the 2nd and 3rd quarters while collecting 7 rebounds. In his return to action, Jason Oprisek scored 15 pts, 5 rbs and lead with 5 assists for the Knights. Two other Knights found themselves in double figures with Nathan Lehner at 13 pts and Cole Winer at 12 pts.
