Oak Hill High School Boys Varsity Basketball beat Northwestern High School 38-30
The Golden Eagles struggled to score in the first quarter as the Wildcats intentionally tried to slow the game down and the Eagles found themselves down 4-9 after the first quarter. The Eagles then made some good adjustments and won the 2nd quarter 13-5 taking a 17-14 lead into the half, which they never relinquished. After being in foul trouble most of the first half Ty Fagan came out with a vengeance scoring all 10 of his points in the third quarter to help the Golden Eagles win that quarter 14-7, and the Wildcats never got closer than seven or eight points the rest of the game. The Eagles were very balanced in the low scoring game proving they can win games in many different ways pushing the record to 19 and two with just one regular season game remaining at home versus Delta this Friday night. That game will be senior night for the golden eagles please come out and cheer them on. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles: Kroll with 12, Biegel with 11, and Levi Trexler with five big points off the bench as he continues to come in and give good minutes as the sixth man.
