Knights Win At Southern Wells
The Southwood Knights picked up their first win of the season Tuesday, defeating Southern Wells 7-5.

The Knights used a big 2nd inning on offense to propel them to the first victory of the season over the Raiders. The inning started with 4 straight singles from Jaret Denney, Dalton Barney, Jaron Craft, and Ryan Deeter. Mo Lloyd followed with a triple later in the inning. The Knights final run came in the 6th on an RBI groundout by Ashton Smith.
On the mound, Ryan Deeter got the start and went 3.2 innings with 8 K’s and only giving up 2 earned runs. Blayne Hamilton came on in relief and shut the door throwing 3.1 scoreless innings with 5 K’s and 0 earned runs.
