Wabash Tennis Sweeps Southwood

The Wabash tennis team defeated Southwood 5-0 Monday.

The Lady Tennis Apaches had a very good match on Monday against Southwood beating the Knights 5-0. Each position was a close match with several tie breakers and duce points.

At 1 Singles, Hasumi Okubo won (7-5)(6-2).

At 2 Singles, Talia Carrillo won (4-6)(6-4)(10-7) and at 3 Singles Alexa Johnson won (7-6)(7-6).

Both doubles teams posted their first wins of the season, at 1 Doubles Abby Hipskind and Bridget Bailey won (6-4)(7-5). At 2 Doubles, Emma Weaver and Maddie Von Uhl won a close match (6-2)(5-7)(6-3).
