Wabash MS Soccer Falls To Maconaquah

The Wabash Middle School soccer team fell to Maconaquah 6-0 Wednesday.

In its second consecutive away game this week, Wabash faced off against the Maconaquah Braves in a make-up contest. With three games under their belt, the Apache defense looked much stronger on Maconaquah’d turf field and had multiple scoring opportunities that unfortunately did not come to fruition. Colleena Meadows placed the lone shot for the Apache offense late into the second half but did not find the back of the net. Wabash’s core defense of Emma Coffman, John Harris, Brian Palmer, and Alyssa Sheridan held the Braves to 5 goals in te first half, and only one additional goal in the second. Wabash falls to 0-4 on the season and will face off against the Braves again on Tuesday, May 2 on Alumni Field.
