Recap: The Inguard A’s scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to beat the Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs 14-13 Thursday night. Cruz Long knocked in the winning run and went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI on the night. Blake Ashba was also 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Ryker McKillip doubled for the A’s. Beckett Shaw, Ridge McKillip, Zander McKnight, Zayne Huffman, and Weston Rice all singled for the A’s. Grady Dillon led the Cubs at the plate going 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI. Nash Cunningham had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Ryker Wilcox doubled and had 3 RBI. Brody Schnurpel had a single and 2 RBI and Andy Shepard singled for the Cubs. With the win, the A’s are now 2-0 while the Cubs are 1-1 on the season.
