Norse Golf Defeats Manchester/Whitko

The Northfield golf team traveled to Sycamore Wednesday to take on Manchester and Whitko in a conference battle.

The Norsemen would shoot 164 to take home the win. Tyson Baer stole the show tying his season best 9 hole match score of 34(-2). Baer finished his bogey free round with a birdie on the 18th. Cash Cartwright finished 2nd among the field with a 41. Cartwright carded 5 pars and a birdie on the evening. Dylan Ross and Gavin Brainard both finished with a pair of 43’s followed by Easton Shaw with 46. Tristan Hoffman would finished with a 49 to cap off the Norsemen’s 8th win of the season to improve to 8-1 overall.

Northfield will be back at Honeywell Friday night for another conference match between Wabash and Maconaquah.
